Lebanese Garlic Sauce – Take your meal from average to AMAZING with this creamy, delicious sauce bursting with flavors of fresh garlic, chives, and parsley!
My son started kindergarten last week, and with that he’s developed a new level of confidence, and dare I say, sauciness… He thinks he’s smart stuff now, and that suddenly his opinions carry the weight of that of an adult because, as he says, “I’m in kindergarten now.”
Truth be told, as annoying as it is to correct and parent his rude behavior, I’m happy he’s confident and knows his mind. I believe that will bode well for him as he grows up. Not to mention, he’s met his match in mommy. I’m one of the most stubborn people I know…
With a saucy 5-year-old strutting around my house, I decided I needed some sauciness of the right kind. That is, the tasty kind.
Today’s recipe for Lebanese Garlic Sauce is one I’m bonkers for. It’s creamy, with the bite of garlic and the gentler notes of chives and parsley.
It’s delicious on a variety of Middle Eastern and Greek fare such as kebabs, shawarmas, gyros, and pitas. Additionally, the sour cream base makes it delicious with other favorite sour cream pairings like potatoes, grilled veggies, meats, and fish.
Did I mention that this stuff is incredibly easy to whip up?
All you have to do is combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together with a spoon. In no time you’ll have a delicious sauce that will take your meal from average to amazing!
And did I mention..? This sauce doesn’t sauce back!
