Glazed Slow Cooker Carrots – Introduce some veggie excitement to the dull winter months with this deliciously sweet and savory side that’s a breeze to put together!
As I sit down to write this blog post, my spirited little three-month-old is wildly flailing his arms and legs in the air in an attempt to make the stuffed octopus that hangs from his baby gym rattle. He looks so cute and focused. I make it sound like I have such a delightful and content baby… Truth be told, this is my fifth attempt to write this blog post as I spend much of my days keeping my little ball of ferocious crying energy happy. If he’s being held he’s as content as can be, but if I set him down there’s hell to be paid. And let’s just say that holding a baby isn’t conducive to typing. He turned 12 weeks today and I hear that after this point babies start crying less. We shall see if this afternoon’s contentment becomes the new norm!
With the busy little addition to my family, I’ve been all about extra, extra simple and easy recipes. My recipe for Glazed Slow Cooker Carrots is one such example. These carrots are coated in a delightfully sweet honey orange glaze and they only take five minutes to prep! If you want to try this recipe yourself, click here to get the recipe from the blog Simple As That, where I’m a contributing writer. I think this easy and delicious recipe may just become one you’ll make over and over again!

I used to carry my daugther in a baby sling wrapped around my body to keep her happy… I could even cook with her sleeping on my chest. Memories! 🙂 Lovely looking carrots and that bowl is so cute.

I often put my son in a baby carrier. It’s so wonderful having him close to me. I know it will go by so quickly too!
