As a total foodie, my favorite thing about the warmer weather is the advent of grilling season. In my home, grilling is a way of life in the summer. Living in a townhouse without a yard, my patio is my family’s oasis where we grow tomatoes, herbs, and flowers in pots. There’s just enough room for a table with an umbrella and chairs along with my son’s sandbox and a small kiddie pool. My husband and I spend many lazy afternoons and evenings under the shade of the umbrella, listening to chill music with a summer drink in hand, while we grill and my son has busy sand and water adventures.
